About the role

Purely Energy is a B Corp certified energy broker helping businesses across a wide range of sectors secure the best possible rates from a network of over 30 leading suppliers. We don't just find better rates, we provide ongoing support, which is why 91% of our clients choose to renew with us. That commitment is backed by our proprietary energy monitoring software, Purely Insights, which helps clients cut both consumption and costs well beyond the initial contract. As a small, privately owned firm, we pride ourselves on transparency, expertise, and consistently competitive offerings. We're growing, and we're looking for people who want to be part of that journey.

What you'll do

  • Contract administration
  • Generate, issue, and manage client contracts through to completion.
  • Create and maintain accurate contract records on the CRM, including lock-ins, rates, and start and end dates.
  • Move pre-live contracts to live status each morning, checking all information is correct and up to date.
  • Carry out compliance checks for allocated sales agents, including commission uplift processing.
  • Monitor contracts post-completion, manage renewal or loss outcomes, and update records to 'completed' accordingly.
  • Supplier and account management
  • Liaise with energy suppliers by phone and email on behalf of clients.
  • Manage objections to accounts going live, working with suppliers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Collate and analyse price comparisons to help the sales team present the best options to clients.
  • Coordinate siteworks requirements such as new connections and meter relocations, both before and after sale.
  • Sales support
  • Help the sales team prepare quotes, proposals, and client-facing documentation.
  • Track sales metrics and produce reports for management as required.
  • Work with other internal departments to resolve customer issues and improve the overall client experience.
  • Take part in ongoing training to develop your product, system, and industry knowledge.

What we look for

  • Essential
  • Resilient and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Proven experience in a business administration, sales support, or contracts role.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems.
  • A confident communicator, comfortable dealing with suppliers and clients by phone and email.
  • Well organised, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Proactive and reliable, with the ability to work independently.

Nice to have

  • Desirable
  • Degree-level qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience in the energy, utilities, or financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and contract management processes.
  • Understanding of energy contracts, objection handling, or supplier processes.
  • Experience handling escalations, complaints, or supplier disputes.
