Our story

Founded with a simple belief: businesses deserve better from their energy consultant.

The UK commercial energy market has long been dominated by opaque pricing, hidden supplier commissions, and brokers who quietly work for suppliers rather than their clients. Purely Energy exists to fix that, starting with the invoice.

We are a B-Corp certified UK energy consultancy and brokerage, comparing contracts from more than 30 gas and electricity suppliers on every tender. We publish every broker commission to the client in writing before they sign. Read the detail in our transparency pillars below.

Line-by-line pricing
Every invoice is broken down into its components: wholesale cost, network charges, levies, and our margin. You see exactly what each element costs. Most suppliers bundle these together. We don’t.
Open-book margins
Our margin is a fixed p/kWh or £/MWh, agreed upfront and visible on every bill. It does not change with market conditions. You always know what you are paying us versus what goes to the grid.
Real-time market data
Purely Insights gives you access to the same wholesale market data our traders use: day-ahead, month-ahead, and seasonal forward curves, updated throughout the trading day.
