About the role
This is the entry point into our customer-facing team, andthe best possible seat to learn how UK business energy actually works. You will read every inbound from our 500+ customers, resolve the admin queries (meter reads, change of tenancy, invoice questions) yourself, and loop in the right specialist for anything more complex.
What you'll do
- Own the customers@purelyenergy.co.uk inbox and our customer portal messages
- Resolve billing, meter-read, and contract-admin queries directly
- Route trading, sustainability, or technical queries to the right account manager
- Log every interaction in our CRM so account managers see the full history
What we look for
- Clear, professional written English
- Curious about how UK energy markets work, wewill teach you the rest
- Organised and comfortable with multiple parallel conversations
- Calm under pressure; customers sometimes email angry and leave happy

- 1A 30-minute intro call with our talent team to check mutual fit.
- 2A 60-minute conversation with the Head of Customer Operations covering your experience and the role in more depth.
- 3A practical exercise: a short take-home or a live session with the team, tailored to the role.
- 4A final meeting with 1 to 2 cross-functional leaders and an offer within 3 working days.
