Years trading
Incorporation date and how long the licence-holding company has been on the Companies House register.
Ultimate owner
Parent group or majority shareholder, drawn from PSC filings and group accounts.
Five years of accounts
Filed turnover, pre-tax profit, employees, net worth and year-on-year growth, plus a 5-year CAGR.
Credit risk band
Independent risk score with a plain-English banding (Low risk, Stable, Caution, Concern, Critical).
Active directors
Named officers on the public register with a LinkedIn search link for each (marked nofollow).
Out-of-contract rates
Whether the supplier publishes deemed or OOC rates online, with a direct link to their published page.
Licence-holder mapping
The customer-facing trading name mapped to every Ofgem licence held under it (groups like Corona hold four).
Contact channels

The supplier list is built directly from Ofgem's authoritative registers. Company data on each licence holder is compiled by Purely Energy's independent research team from public business intelligence sources and refreshed monthly. Trading names, contact details and out-of-contract rates change frequently, so each profile shows the date it was last refreshed and the primary sources used.
How small businesses use this directory
- Check who you're actually contracted with. Customer-facing trading names often differ from the legal entity on your bill. Look up your supplier to see who signs your contract.
